It has an extensive use in chemical processing when better corrosion resistance is required than the regular chromium-nickel types. It is also used in medical, pharmaceutical, laboratory, semiconductor, food processing, marine, waste water and water purification equipment. It finds its application in diamond tools, grinding and P/M parts.
